IMI Bopp & Reuther Si8, size V-W (API 526)
The additional sizes V and W allow selection of one or a smaller number of valves, where the API 526 standard (D-T) would require multiple installation for high capacity. Based on the general API range, V, W orifices are designed for high capacity.
Due to its similar design to the D-T, its advantages also apply to sizes V and W. The extra-large sizes V and W are made for very high flow applications. These are also certified by the NBBI (National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors).
The valves are suitable for applications in the chemical and petrochemical industries, closed systems, oil/gas - onshore and offshore, refineries and tank farms, as well as nuclear facilities according to ASME Sec. III
