IMI Bopp & Reuther Si 9
The high-quality steam safety valve Si 9 is designed according to ASME Sec. I requirements. A large scale of opening sizes ensures optimum selection.
Fixed overpressure and purge according to ASME Sec.I without ring, with the advantage that no adjustment is required. This valve guarantees a stable position of the disc by a mechanical lift stop when fully lifted. The optimised disc spindle joints ensure high tightness of the seat. The forged inlet nozzle is available with a good flange connection. Special disc spring design for high pressure and large orifice diameter.
The Si9 has a full nozzle design and the inlet pressure is present in a forged solid part. The cast outlet body is charged only by the relief pressure. The valve function is stable up to 25% built up on back pressure.
