IMI Bopp & Reuther Change Over Valves assemblies increase process performance and plant availability by providing the ability to switch from one safety valve to another without process interruption or shutdown, even when in-service safety valve maintenance is required.
Our diverter valves are designed and selected for best flow efficiency with superior zeta value to meet maximum inlet pressure loss requirements (3% according to AD 2000 and API 520). Their high-efficiency design often allows smaller nominal diameters, saving pipe network operating costs.
Change Over Valves can be used in two ways:
- As a stand-alone valve on the inlet side of two safety valves, in case of blowdown to atmosphere.
- As a linkable change-over-valve combination on the inlet and outlet side of two safety valves in case of blowdown to discharge lines.
These systems are used for steam, gases or liquids in the chemical and petrochemical industries, process industry and plant construction.
